Summer Farm Camp & After School Care

Teacher's Aides or Assistant Teachers  --

 Little Garden Patch Farm is occasionally seeking reliable, enthusiastic individuals with the right qualifications to assist part time with our After School Care program! We are a unique  program that emphasizes connecting kids with nature and developing creativity and social skills through outdoor play and imagination, gardening, farm animal encounters, and age-appropriate science and nature learning.  Contact us for more information.

In our summer program children explore a new theme each week of our Summer Farm Camp program through dramatic play, stories, hands-on activities and displays, arts & crafts, and even some walking field trips and guest presentations.   If you would like to be on our contact list for future openings, please let us know.

Substitute Teachers

From time to time Little Garden Patch is in need of reliable individuals with child CPR and First Aid training who are willing to undergo the necessary background check and fingerprinting process to be a sub in either our summer program or our after school care program.  The job duties are very similar to that for our regular Teacher's Aides or Assistant Teachers (Learn more).  If you think you have the right stuff to fill in as needed when one of our regular teachers is out sick, please feel free to drop us some email. . 

Volunteers

Are you a local community member eager to share your expertise with the children in our program on an occasional or ongoing basis?  We would love to hear from you! 

Little Garden Patch volunteers have helped children by mentoring them in such areas as arts & crafts skills, farm life skills, cooking, or homework help -- AND by simply being a compassionate listener with a willing pair of hands.   Some volunteers come weekly or seasonally, and some come just once a year to share their experience with the children about a particular hobby or job background.
